Save paper, save trees.
\nI have been putting up and advertising this slogan
\nsince 1995 but there is still a lot more to be done,
\nas so many of us still haven’t got the message.
\nThey don’t teach this even in schools and colleges
\nwhere it should all start in the first place.
\nThey are teaching hardly anything on saving the environment. <\/p>\n
Instead there is so much emphasis on irrelevant subjects.
\nI see so many students wasting away so much of paper
\nto write out even a small problem
\nand a question or an answer,
\nand nobody seems to know that trees are being cut
\nday in and day out. <\/p>\n
To start with, please write small and beautiful
\non your copies, notebooks and registers
\nand do not waste paper unnecessarily.
\nIn the 1940’s, Mahatma Gandhi used to write even on old envelopes
\nand spread the message of saving the resources.
\nAnd what about teaching a few subjects with
\nminimum of paper use?
