The government will talk about poverty, education, housing, employment opportunities, but forget that all is useless if there’s no population control strict die hard policy.
Only China dealt with this properly but is now facing issues of uncontrolled development, industrialization, and pollution.
Other countries could take a cue from China or even take their help to draft and implement a policy of population, but also ensure that prosperity and happiness comes not by GDP, but austerity and limiting the expenses of the nation to a certain extent.

Roti, kapda aur makaan- Bread, clothing and housing
Defense of a nation together with having good relations with neighboring countries
Saving and increasing parks and forest cover of the nation
Caring for the best of the best public transport systems
Free and fair communications and internet
Minimum fair taxes should be imposed.
