a vast dump of plastic bottles, micro particles, toys, electronic equipment, polythene bags and tirpal, abandoned fishing nets swirling in Pacific is now bigger than France, Germany and Spain put together.
The story has been published by Scientific Reports according to the newspaper.
The total area of this plastic and other waste is now approximately 1.6 million sq km.
It’s 16 times greater than plastic mass declared previous to this news.
Between Hawaii and California, an estimated 1.8 trillion pieces of plastic lie floating in the seas and ocean.
8 million tons of plastic enter the oceans annually accumulating in approximately 5 huge garbage patches all around earth in all these great water bodies.
For those who say all these environment stories are a needless sham, the time to wake up has passed by long ago.
The question is when do we stop all this, and how do we all try and reverse the process.
