First of all, we need to understand
that education has been made more
and more difficult unnecessarily in the past.
A very few teachers have been really dedicated and committed, and they always stand apart from the rest, and we should thank them from our soul and heart.
And now in the modern world, thankfully,
education has been made more and more easy by computers, internet, Google, mobile phones, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, SMS messages etc., where there is minimum of direct human interaction, and almost no need of a teacher so many times.
Even TV, and radio FM channels, are playing their roles in educating the masses with so many languages news channels, National Geographic, Discovery, History, Travel, Cookery, Science channels.
Coming back to our closed classroom education system, I have always been against making notes and notes, writing endlessly, and filling up copies and registers just to show that you are trying very hard to study or mug up everything in your mind and brains.
What’s more important is that you should learn to listen more, and grasp and understand what’s going on in a classroom.
Why make notes or write down everything?
You have a textbook for that in front of you on the table or at your home.
A few very good readings and underlining the main points can make you as good as the best.
A very few subjects need a practice of writing again and again e.g. Maths.
For this also, please do not waste a lot of paper and always remember the saying that pleads us to save paper, save trees.
The age old education system needs to be changed and modified, and a lot of useless subjects need to go down history lane forever.
