Meditations in children:
Why not?
In fact, some of it is so necessary
at this young age,
but they are denied it
when they may be needing it the most.
There is so much of unnecessary stress
on technical and theoretical aspect of education,
and hardly any counselling to deal with it.
There are so many different meditations nowadays
that are also not based on any religion whatsoever.
Introduction to the different types of meditations
should be a compulsory subject
in every year of school,
and the children can take up any individual meditation
they like, just as fish takes to water.
A note of caution is due here.
Religion based meditations should not be forced
on anybody,
and should be kept out of schools and colleges
absolutely and strictly.
They can be practiced at home
if anybody likes to do that.
Then there is no problem
and all of us will be contributing and making a better world.
