Why is it that people with less consumption, or having a minimalistic lifestyle, sometimes appear to be more happy and carefree?
It may be that they have more of a very simple lifestyle that works in their favour.
They are also more busy in running about for their bread and butter, and certainly have less time for all the psychological problems of life that one may have.
Also, those who are engaged in more and more social service or charity without advertising or trumpeting about it, or working for the environment, are bound to have more sense of purpose, and a self assured belief that works for them, and uplifts them from boredom, setbacks, and disappointments.
